Welcome to the Bulmer Families Website
I hope to provide an interesting useful resource for any researchers who have Bulmer ancestors and who wish to find out more by sharing their knowledge with others.
My own personal research is based in England & Wales, but I would be pleased to add Bulmer data worldwide. In the United Kingdom the biggest concentration of names appear in the county of Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
On the link page I have databases showing the Bulmer Births, Marriages and Deaths compiled from the England & Wales National Index for years after 1837. Also shown is the
census for 1841, 1851 and 1871 for England and Wales and 1861, 1881 and 1891 excluding Yorkshire which includes households with Bulmer occupants. These censuses show the names of occupants including their occupations. My hope is that births, marriages and deaths can be cross
referenced with the censuses and in doing so make the information more useful.
The databases provide interesting information about our Bulmer ancestors and the opportunity for us all to add data which can be shared in the hope that we can join together some of the family branches.
My intention is to add more databases to the site in the future including scanned copies of certificates, army indexes, Immigration indexes and much more.
The tree and data held in the main website as of May 2010 is for my own Bulmer branch and for London Bulmer families. I welcome Bulmer family trees and branches from all researchers and would be pleased to add them to the main site database.
My current research includes adding more detailed information to the Bulmer marriages after 1837 which can be seen on the link page. I would welcome any help with this.
I welcome all suggestions for changes and improvements and if you would like to join me in collaborating on making this site the best resource for all Bulmer researchers worldwide, please do make contact.
Thank You
Paul Bulmer
